Location: Saffron Walden office at least 3 days per week.
Salary: Basic salary based on experience plus 6-monthly bonus based on company and personal performance
About Piccadilly Wealth:
Piccadilly Wealth is a dynamic financial advisory firm based in the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and tailored financial advice to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Adviser/Paraplanner to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified financial adviser looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their career. Initially, you will be home-based, with a requirement to attend our office in Saffron Walden 3 days per week for face-to-face training and mentoring.
You will be given a portfolio of existing clients to manage, which will involve proactively reaching out to offer financial services, managing relationships, responding to queries, providing advice, and conducting annual reviews. In addition, you will perform paraplanning tasks for the directors, such as creating new business suitability reports and analysing existing pensions and investments for prospective clients.
There is no expectation for generating new business in the first year, allowing you to focus on learning our processes, building your skills, and becoming comfortable with our templates and procedures. As your knowledge and confidence grow, the role has the potential to evolve into a full financial adviser position, managing both existing clients and new business.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Manage a bank of existing clients, including maintaining relationships, providing ongoing financial advice, and conducting annual reviews.
-
Proactively reach out to clients to offer financial services and address any queries or concerns.
-
Perform paraplanning tasks, such as preparing suitability reports and analysing pensions and investments for prospects.
-
Collaborate closely with the directors and team to support the firm's growth and success.
-
Stay up to date with industry regulations, best practices, and developments.
Key Requirements:
-
Qualified Financial Adviser (Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent).
-
Strong PC and technology skills, with proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
-
A fast learner with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Personable, proactive, and confident in communicating with clients and colleagues.
-
Willingness to travel to Saffron Walden 3 days per week for training and mentoring.
What We Offer:
-
A competitive basic salary.
-
6-monthly performance-based bonuses.
-
Comprehensive training and mentoring to support your development.
-
Opportunity to grow into a full financial adviser role.
-
A friendly, supportive, and collaborative working environment.
